Sustainability - The natural choice
We believe that true beauty can be found in nature. Our notebooks are developed with more than design and quality in mind. Our priority has always been to produce sustainable products with minimal impact on the environment.
We have the 17 goals from Agenda 2030 in mind when we produce our notebooks. Agenda 2030 is the UN’s plan for sustainable development. 17 global goals to lead to economic, social, and environmentally sustainable development worldwide.
Papermill
We use the finest Munken paper from Arctic Paper a Swedish paper mill that was founded in 1871.
The mill has always had a close relationship with its surroundings and nature. The mill is today one of the world’s most environmentally friendly paper mills and works for sustainable production every day with the ambition to minimize their environmental footprints.
Both the mill itself and the paper it produces are FSC® certified, which means that the forest is managed in a way that preserves biological diversity and promotes local people and workers.
The paper is also Cradle to Cradle Certified® at Bronze level. This is a global standard that guarantees that the paper produced can be part of an ongoing circular system. Hence, leftovers from production and the paper inside our notebooks can be used again as long as we recycle it correctly.
When production is finished the water used is so clean that you can drink it.

Bookbindery
Our books are produced CO2 neutral in a bookbindery in Europe.
They are conscious when it comes to sustainability, is FSC® certified and holds several other environmental certificates. They participate in many sustainability projects such as;

The cover
We use only the finest book linen cover for our notebooks.
Our European supplier pursue their business activities in a sustainable and responsible manner.
They are committed to the UN Global Compact corporate responsibility initiative and its principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment, and anti-corruption.
The company is FSC® certified.
They use only green electricity.
Recyclable
A Paperstyle product is not something you use and dispose, it´s a durable item which becomes more valuable and personal the more you use it. When all pages have been filled, you will likely save it for years to come, as it contains valuable information, ideas, or your personal story. That´s what we call sustainable
This is what we and our partners contribute with; decent working conditions, no child labour, no corruption, the use of green energy, the trees used comes from FSC certified forests, invest in new machines that use less electricity.
